Built With Heart, Built With Purpose

OrAI began at the Rabbi Steven Foster Early Learning Center at Temple Emanuel. A Denver Jewish early learning center where educators were searching for a way to make room for reflection, deeper planning, and values-driven practice. What started as a school tool quickly grew into a powerful platform for educators everywhere. While AI has transformed education by streamlining curriculum planning, communication, and professional development, its impact on early childhood education, especially in values-based and faith-based settings, has been limited. Instead of seeing this as a barrier, we viewed it as an opportunity. Developed through extensive collaboration, careful development, and relentless persistence, OrAI was created.

OrAI’s mission is to support the reimagining of Jewish early childhood education by thoughtfully integrating artificial intelligence in service of what matters most. We aim to illuminate Jewish values and wisdom in daily practice, empower educators through meaningful tools and insights, and connect values-driven learning communities rooted in shared values. Grounded in care, collaboration, and curiosity, OrAI strengthens both the systems and the soul of early learning.
